I was at a casino looking for seafood when another patron told me not to leave Louisiana without going to Orlandeaux’s. Man oh man! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! I had the boudin balls, catfish and shrimp combo, and a small gumbeaux. I was stuffed and their Sweet Tea washed it all down. Happy that I found this place. The views were scenic and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Please note: Get There Early! Expect crowds and a long wait time on Sundays!

FANTASTIC FOOD and even better service. The Grilled Catfish Campi was 10/10 and the gumbo was a very close second. All food is made from scratch and you can definitely tell. I definitely found a must goto whenever I visit Shreveport.

We found this gem purely by chance while visiting Shreveport. From the moment we entered the diningroom, we were captivated by the view of Lake Cross which provided that bayou feel. Our server suggested amazing drinks, the Bayou Tea and the Swamp Water. Both arrived to our table bubbling up in the glasses. From there we chose the Chef's Favorite (shrimp and cream cheese sauce over rice) and the Shrimp & Grits. We capped off our meal with the Beignets (Highly Recommended). From start to finish, we were thrilled with the whole experience.

We were in Shreveport for a family reunion and this place was on our list to try. The service was great. They were really accommodating especially with our party being big. Our waitress was so kind and the food was delicious. The stuffed shrimp is something I'd travel back just to try again lol. I also had the grits which were loaded with flavor.

Easily some of the best cajun food i’ve ever had, i ordered the catfish campti with dirty rice and two stuffed shrimp. Both dishes came out hot and fresh and the roux was delicious, the stuffed shrimp are like a cross between a fried shrimp and a hush puppy, and the catfish in the campti was very crispy and delicious, the peppers were also some of the best tasting vegetables i’ve ever had in a dish and complimented it well. My waitress also brought me a fresh piece of cornbread. When I was getting ready to leave one of the runners even came over and offered to get me a to go box and then brought me a fresh lemonade to go without me even asking for it. Top notch service and food.

First time here. The location on the water is beautiful and the service great. The food is good. The mustard greens were my favorite. I encourage them to give the venue an update with some new flooring, paint, etc. Your place is worth the reinvestment, respectfully.

Some restaurants serve a meal. Others create an experience. This establishment firmly belongs in the latter category. After driving two hours to see whether it lived up to its reputation, I can confidently say the glowing reviews are well deserved. Before we even sat down, the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding wildlife set the tone for the evening. The scenery creates a rare sense of connection between the environment and the food being served, elevating the entire dining experience. The restaurant itself has clearly undergone significant exterior improvements and looks far better than some older photos and comments online would suggest. The property feels welcoming, well cared for, and perfectly suited to its picturesque setting. The food was exceptional. Portions were generous, every dish arrived well-seasoned, and each bite delivered the kind of flavor that makes you immediately start planning a return visit. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Service was equally impressive. Stephanie struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and professionalism. She was always nearby when needed but never intrusive, ensuring our table was cared for throughout the meal. The true testament to the quality of the food, however, came from my 13-year-old nephew—a notoriously selective eater whose diet typically consists of cheese pizza, chicken nuggets, and French fries. To everyone's surprise, he enthusiastically ate every dish placed in front of him. Each new food quickly became his "favorite." The defining moment came when he tasted the peach cobbler. He paused, stared at it with wide eyes, and quietly whispered, "Oh my God." Even after we left, he couldn't stop talking about the gator bites and beignets and was already asking when we could return. This isn't simply another restaurant. It's a place where outstanding food, remarkable hospitality, natural beauty, and local history come together to create lasting memories. Long after the meal ends, the experience
